We need your help to make a huge difference for local youth sports! The Council is applying for planning permission to transform the current MUGA into a brand-new PlayZone—a turf pitch with proper lighting, fencing and safe equipment.
Why It Matters:
We’ll manage it and have guaranteed access from 3–7pm every day, 50 weeks/year
No more muddy grass or hauling temporary floodlights in winter
Affordable five-a-side hire for the community (£2–£4 pp)
All income goes back to maintaining the PlayZone and supporting W4 Youth
The council has plans to add a free-use basketball area in the same location too!
The Southfield Safer Neighbourhood Panel backs the plan, seeing it as a way to reduce crime and keep the park safe after dark.
